Panama Bay: Shweta Agrawal is showing some pen and Ink Sketches and Paintings

For years, Shweta has explored storytelling through the language of paint and pen—layering acrylics to build expansive landscapes where golden hills fade into distant skies and waves stretch toward the horizon, while also creating flowing pen and ink drawings that capture movement with delicate precision. Her landscapes are more than scenery; they are emotional terrains filled with quiet motion and memory, where nature becomes the narrator. In recent years, she has expanded her practice to include more figurative work, blending realism with touches of fantasy—a woman mid-reach, fabric caught in motion, or a figure emerging from a field—each hinting at stories unfolding beyond the frame. Her work lives in the space between what is seen and what is felt, inviting viewers to pause, reflect, and step into a story.
She has served as a Commissioner on Dublin’s Heritage and Cultural Arts Commission for the past six years, including a term as Vice Chair, and now serves as Chair of the Commission.
