Tuan loves to share the joy and energy through his paintings, whether he's working on portraits or the local landscapes. Lately, his focus has been on themes of inner peace and self-reflection, aiming to bring a sense of calm during these transformative times. 

A self-taught artist who embarked on his full-time art journey during the 2020 pandemic, Tuan is celebrated for his extensive body of work. He has earned accolades for both his plein-air and portrait paintings. In addition to creating commissioned portraits, Tuan is actively involved in the Tri Valley art community and frequently joins local plein-air groups to paint regional landscapes. His current favorite technique involves using previous paintings as underpaintings or creating vibrant, random splashes as backgrounds for new works. This approach somehow relaxes his inner mind and lets him paint in a free-flowing, expressive style.
