Sculptor and Danville Artist Network member Mark  T  Ebner transforms steel into playful, colorful sculptures he call Widgets.  Made using traditional metalworking techniques, each piece has its own quirky character and a one-word name that hints at something familiar or unexpected.

Inspired in part by artists such as Alexander Calder, Piet Mondrian and Wassily Kandinsky, Ebner’s Widgets bring color, humor and a sense of discovery to the art of sculpture.

Explore The Wonderfully Whacky World of Widgets in the Display Case at the Lafayette Library beginning October 28.  Reception Monday, November 9, from 5:00 to 6:30p.m.  Discover Lafayette through Public Art and learn more at www.allianceforthevisualarts.org/mark-ebner.com
