My latest take on semi-abstract landscapes can be found in my Seismic Shifts series, which combine fluid movements of warm, brightly-colored impasto shapes enhanced and bounded by multi-colored contours. With their languid movement and shifting colors, all under skies which suggest the sun is just beginning to peak over the top of landscape, the Seismic Shift series paintings suggest landscapes without being landscapes in any traditional manner.
