The First Street Wine Company announces a solo exhibition featuring the latest work of Lynda Briggs, a local artist with the Alliance for the Visual Arts.

There will be a festive late afternoon reception on Sunday, December 6th, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Driven by pure impulse and a fearless palette, Lynda’s expressive abstract works celebrate the beautiful, spontaneous mystery of creation. Each original piece is alive with raw vitality, reflecting deep internal rhythms and a true sense of freedom.

Great wine, beautiful art, and good company—there is no better way to spend a late afternoon. Drop in, meet the artistS, experience her latest work up close, and enjoy the lively Livermore art scene. Bring a friend, make new friends!

This special event is made possible through the wonderful support of First Street Wine Company, a local family-owned business, and the dedicated efforts of the Alliance for the Visual Arts (AVA). AVA is a nonprofit organization promoting visual arts throughout the Tri-Valley area. 

The exhibition runs from November 18th, 2026 through January 12th, 2027. Outside of the reception, the artwork can be viewed during regular business hours. First Street Wine Company features a welcoming wine tasting bar and gift shop where visitors can enjoy wine by the glass or bottle while browsing unique wine country items, and partake in events hosted by the shop.
