I’m drawn to quiet moments in the landscape and to the way light, air, and subtle changes in color can affect how a place feels. Working mostly in watercolor, I try to capture those in-between states when a scene feels calm, fleeting, or slightly unsettled, more about mood than precise detail. Watercolor is an essential part of how I work. I enjoy its unpredictability and the constant conversation between intention and accident. Instead of controlling every
mark, I let the paint move, layer, and flow, allowing the image to emerge gradually. Through this process, my paintings become less about documenting a specific place and more about memory, atmosphere, and the experience of being there.
