I developed an interest in photography many years ago in a class where I learned to develop film. I quickly fell in love with working in the darkroom to bring images to life on paper. Over the years, my passion for photography grew as I traveled abroad and photographed landscapes and old architecture. In recent years, I have also developed an interest in portraiture. While I enjoy capturing an image through the lens, my passion continues to be post-processing, now using Photoshop instead of a darkroom. I love the process of enhancing colors and layering textures to put my own spin on a scene. My goal is to capture the beauty in the landscape we see daily but often overlook.
