Intro to Clay
for kids ages 6 and up - In this class you will get to use your imagination and clay to create all kinds of fun projects. We will make pinch pot critters, ancient Indian Storytellers, boxes, pooch plates and anything else your mind can think up. You are the artist and clay is the medium. Come ready to make stuff and have fun!
Saturdays 1:00pm to 3:00pm
$50/class; $160/4 classes
Clay 101
for ages 16 and up - In this class you will learn about working with clay. You will learn slab work, extruding, pinching and coil techniques. You will get an introduction to wheel throwing and can sign up for more classes on the wheel. You are the artist and clay is the medium. Come ready to make stuff and have fun!
Tuesdays from 6:30pm to 9:30pm & Fridays from 6:30pm to 9:30pm
$60/class; $200/4 classes
Wheel Classes
In these you will learn more about throwing clay on the potters wheel. You will learn wedging, centering and pulling clay to make a cylander. You will also be able to practice if you become a member. It takes a lot of practice and making a mess before you make more than a dog dish! You are the artist and clay is the medium. Come ready to make stuff and have fun!
Studio Membership*
This allows for time in the studio to practice for class or to create your art. Full members will have keys and be able to teach classes.
Full Membership
$140/month
You will have 24/7 access and be allowed to teach classes or workshops.
Student Membership
$80/month
You will be allowed access during regular business hours and can assist in teaching of classes.
Family Membership
$200/month
For two or more family members to use the studio and take classes.
Family Art Day
A day for the family to experience art. These will be scheduled throughout the year.
Family Clay Day
$15/person
This is a 3 hour workshop to get a taste of playing with clay. You will make projects which will be fired to pick up later.
Family Paint Day
$15/person
You will be making a painting on various surfaces to take home.
