Pat Dowling is a California native and was a dancer with the San Francisco Ballet. Pat recently retired from teaching English, Film, Journalism and Educational Theory for over 40 years. Pat worked both as a high school teacher and a secondary school administrator.

Motivated by movement, nature and color, Pat is a Mixed Media artist focusing on watercolor, acrylic and ink. She’s inspired by the beauty of the Tri-Valley area, and paints both representational and abstract art.
