Fremont Art Association
The Fremont Art Association (FAA) was established by a small group of local artists in 1959 and was organized into a non- profit association in 1987. It is the oldest art organization in Fremont, California. FAA also offers monthly guest artist demonstrations, gallery exhibiting privileges, feature artist showcases, annual events, and the opportunity to interact with a large group of seasoned artists. Annual events include the Annual Juried Art Show and Holiday Boutique and weekly groups such as Tuesday painters and Fiber Art Group are also an active part of FAA. The association offers a life drawing session once a month and a plein aire and a photo group meet once a month. Membership is open to anyone, 18 years and over, who is interested in supporting our goals of fostering, promoting and encouraging the cultivation, and appreciation of Art. The art association also operates a cooperative Gallery located at 37697 Niles Boulevard, in the historic Niles district of Fremont.
