Panama Bay Coffee Co has undergone an exciting renovation! Panama is now showing Judy Rice's collection of water color paintings.
Judy states: "I have a Commercial Art degree and studied Mass Communications and Marketing at Cal State, Hayward. My career was in graphic design. I’ve taken numerous college painting classes, and workshops with well-known artists such as Lian Quan Zhen, Karen Frey, Carol Maddox, Oneida Stowe, and Peg Humphreys at Ghost Ranch, New Mexico."
My art has been exhibited in Livermore Art Association and Pleasanton Art League shows and art circuits, with solo shows at Wente Winery and Valley Care and the Livermore Community Center. Some of my paintings are in private collections in Redding, CA and Bremerton, WA.
Judy is an author and illustrator. Projects include writing and illustrating three books for children: Randi’s Pesky Picnic (about insects from A to Z) and Angel the Beddy-bye Cat (both rhyming ABC stories), and The Counting Fair, a rhyming counting story. Another project involved illustrating a book called Nature's Wonders, Poems for Young People, written by Alan Kasparian.
More of her paintings and children’s books can be seen at the LAA Gallery in Livermore at Carnegie Park on 3rd Street.
